Baudin's (Long-billed) Black-Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus larirostris). Margaret River, Western Australia, Australia. Habitat destruction and fragmentation, coupled with persecution from farmers, relegate this bird to an endangered species. It is closely related to the Carnaby's or Short-billed Cockatoo, but differs in having a longer upper mandible which it uses to eat the seed of the Marri tree as you can see from this image.
